Happy Birthday...

To me!!! Today I am officially 17! It feels the same as every year. I really don't feel like I'm getting any older. I'm grateful for all the birthday wishes and everything. 


To start out my birthday, my lovely darling Duy took me to breakfast at IHop. It was yum-didly-umcious! I had a fabulous steak omelet and he had some sweet chocolate pancakes. It was great to be spending time with him at 6 am in IHop. The most emptiest time to ever go there! There was literally a cricket chirping in the restaurant because it was that empty. Oh well. No one to bother me. 


At school, it was just an average day. Oh I forgot something in the beginning. As I was having my breakfast with Duy, one my sweet, silly friend decided to spam text me with 17 different ways of saying happy birthday! It ranged from "Happy Birthday!" to "Birthday Happy!" and "Hippy Barthday!" oh how silly and sweet of her. 


That was pretty much my whole day. Well kind of. I just can't wait 'til this weekend! State fair here I come! 

1 AM

So what am I doing up at 1? I don't know. I'm just laying on my bed with my lap top browsing the web. Weee! So fun! I can't wait 'til school supply shopping day! Yay! And back to school shopping. I need new clothes and jeans for this year.


Well, tomorrow is movie day. I don't know what I'm going to watch. Maybe a cute movie like Despicable Me? Whoot!

Summer Ending

Summer has been quite interesting. I've had my ups and down but I'm pretty happy about everything. I'm not really happy about summer ending though. I haven't even started on my summer reading! Can you believe that? Such a procrastinator. But I'm happy with that. Although I'm not happy about school starting, theres something inside of me that really wants to go back though. I want to see all my friends and meet new friends. I want to go to all of my classes and just learn. Can you believe that?


Summer has been quite an adventure for me. This years vacation has been the greatest vacation I had ever had. I LOVE LAS VEGAS. I could live there. I really want to live there when I have my own life. It's just so colorful and beautiful and lively! I love it! Love it. Love it. LOVE IT! I just love traveling and and being around different people.


Over the summer, I had time to think. I had deep conversations about my future and my current life. I realized that I love myself. I love who I am. I just really love myself! Gosh. I sound like a self loving whore. Hah!


So my summer project is painting a Hello Kitty bank! Yay! Duy bought the bank for me as a surprise present! Boy it was a surprise alright. I really wanted it and I finally got it! Yipee! So I decided to have a great plan on how to paint the Hello Kitty. I want the project to be a project that Duy and I can do together. Gives us some real bonding time. So one half of Hello Kitty is all mines to paint and the other side is his. I have to say that I really love my side. I love that I have this artistic side to me. My side of the Hello Kitty is so abstract and just really cute. Happy! Duy hasn't finished his side yet but I'm hoping that he can finish it tomorrow. I'll probably get some pictures up on my next post.


This summer, I just want to shop, shop, and SHOP. But every time I go shopping, I don't want to buy anything. So weird. But since schools starting, I'm going to "try" to go out and shop this whole week. I can't wait to go school supply shopping! I'm going to be Hello Kitty-fied this school year. I'm waiting to buy my Hello Kitty Binder and matching folder. Whoopee!


I'm pretty happy that I have a car now and I'm just more independent now. I love going out every chance I get. So convenient now! I am hoping to go to Watter View tomorrow to go shopping. But I also want to go back to West Village since I had to take cranky people up there last time. I didn't even get to go look around.  Gahhh!

Hectic Day

Wow. I sure had an adventure when I was going to the DPS do get my drivers license.

The day started out with school. Ew. After school was over, my uncle came and picked me up to go to the DPS. When we got there, the line wasn't long and I just had to wait for about 5 minutes. After they called my number, I went in and they asked for my "Training Education Certificate". I was thinking to myself, "what the heck is that?" They told me that I had to have that. And guess what?

I FORGOT IT. -.-"

Really? I had every single paper that they asked for but that. So we had to go back home and get that paper which took about 20 minutes out of the whole day and the DPS closes at 5. By the time we got there again, it was already 4. So I basically had an hour left of getting my license. This time, the line was LONG. I had to wait for a good 10 minutes to talk to the lady again. But the number calling was fast. I got called in and they told me that I had to drive my car around to the back and wait for the instructor. The instructor took a good 30 to 40 minutes out of my time. I was so impatient. I couldn't wait any longer. By the time the instructor got there we got going. The whole test took about 5 minutes and by the time we got back to the school, it was already 4:57!!! I only had 3 minutes to go in and get my licenses. The instructor told me to hurry up and bang on the door even if its locked. I had 3 freaking minutes but when I got to the door, it was CLOSED! The lady saw me and I was banging on the door but she ignored me. Wow. Really? I was so sad. I passed my test on the first try but I couldn't get my freaking license!




BUT luckily, my instructor knew that I would be out there banging on the door so he went out and opened the exit door for me. What a nice man. I was so freaking happy that I got my license.

The lesson I learned today was that the DPS closes right on time! Not a minute later. That's good business right there. Well I'm pretty happy that I got my license and now I get to be free! WHOOT!

Now I can't wait for the weekend and the summer! WHOOT! I'm going to be going to LAS VEGAS! Yay! So excited!

Chemistry

Dear Chemistry,

Why did you have to be so hard last six weeks? I barely passed but I'm so happy that I did. We had a quiz again today in Chemistry and I'm pretty happy about it since I know I passed it! Not with a 100 but a 95 since I didn't write the correct sig. figs. Still a pretty good grade. Whoot!

I went with Duy today to go get The Great Gatsby, but you know what? It was out! EVERYWHERE! I went to Barnes & Nobles and Half Price Books. Nothing! Ahh! How am I suppose to find one in time? Well after I couldn't find the darn book, we went to Albertsons so I could get a birthday card for my mommy. I'm going to go buy her gift tomorrow with Duy. So I'm pretty excited! Yay!

I couldn't concentrate on my stupid chemistry homework last night so I decided to take pictures.

Battle of the Bands

Last night, I went to Rowlett High School to watch Duy & his band in the battle. They were amazing if I do say so myself. There were 6 bands that performed. In my opinion, I thought that only 3 bands were actually good. (That includes Duy's band) You wouldn't guess who was one the of judges. It was HUGO MARTINEZ! Lol. And Mr. Dunphy was there too! Gosh. Priceless. Old Jackson principals being judges. Lol.

The band that won 2nd place was called The King Crabs. They were pretty good.

Overall, I guess all the other bands were alright EXCEPT for one. For The Fear of Redemption. Are you fucking kidding me? Like what the hell were you guys fucking doing? You should have seen the faces of the judges. It was priceless. The looks on the faces of the judges were like, "What the fuck is this?", "Are you fucking kidding me", "WHAT THE HELL?". LOL. So priceless. I just loved seeing everyone's face, especially the adults. They were like, "What the fuck is this?" HILARIOUS!

Other than what happened there, the rest of the night was pretty funny. Went out to eat with the band and their parents. Oh gosh. That was a night full of laughter for sure. White peoples parents are so cool. I went home after wards relaxing and stuff.

Spring Break

Saturday. Well, my Spring Break started out pretty boring. I basically sat home doing nothing on Saturday except stare into my computer doing nothing. Duy lefted me on Friday so we couldn't go watch Alice in Wonderland.

Sunday. I had a pretty good time on Sunday. I spent some time with my friend Jessica. I went over to her place after having to take care of my cousins since my Mom decided to leave to go look at houses when I was about to go. So I had to wait for her to get home before I could leave. After my Mom came home, I walked over to Jessica's and watched some True Life before we left for Galleria. It was pretty interesting. We watched the episode where people were obsessing over a "perfect body". It was disgusting. There was one guy that wanted to be a professional body builder with tons of muscles. It was nasty. He was flexing his gluteus maximus and all I have to say was WOW. Pretty interesting. We then left for Galleria where we started over quest to go to Forever 21. But we kept getting distracted by other stores on the way. We then finally got to Forever 21 where I went straight towards the hair/accessories portion of the store. I wasn't impressed. North Parks Forever 21 has a way better hair/accessories portion. I couldn't find anything since all the hair stuff was on the floor. It looked like tons of people rampaged the hair section. It was a mess! But I managed to get a few cute hair stuff. As you can see below:

After buying everything, we went to Orange Cup to get some frozen yogurt. It was yummy! I had a Natural cup with strawberries and kiwis. YUM! It was pretty funny paying for it though. I'm guessing there was a new guy or something since he was taking forever to tell Jessica the price of her yogurt. He kept stuttering about the price too. And then, it turned out that he charged her more than he charged me. She only got 1 topping and I got 2. Wow. They should fire the guy. After walking around for a few more minutes, we went back and since everyone was hungry, we went to Cheddar's to eat. It was the first time that I've ever been there. It was okay. I really like the Spinach Dip. That was super yummy! We then went home to watch "Summit on the Summit: Kilimanjaro!" or however you spell it. Rachel came over since she was done babysitting her sister. Rachel decided that she wanted to cut her hair so Jessica said that she would do it for her. It was pretty funny since Jessica cut Rachel's hair all uneven and everything. Rachel was freaking out since it was super short and said that Jessica ruined her life forever! Lol. You had to be there. It was pretty funny. After the hair cut incident, we decided to have makeovers. Rachel didn't join in on the fun since she was still mad at Jessica. She Jessica and I did each others make like those girls in Vogue. Oh gosh. We both ended up looking like Cholas. I was trying to the the "flick" on Jessica but she kept laughing since it was tickling her. And Jessica did the "flick" and me and she made it really thick. Turned out pretty fun. I went home with the Chola makeover and my mom thought I was crazy. Good day.

I can't wait for tomorrow since I get to hang out with Mary and Kristina! Yay!

Well here are items that I ordered online and recently received:

A cute random wallet that I got on Ebay. It was only $.99! Isn't that crazy? I was ordering something online and I only had $1 left so I decided to find myself a new wallet and I happened to stumble on this one that was about to end and I snag the darn thing up. I was pretty happy!


Mario Party DS that my mommy ordered for me. It's pretty fun to play with people. I just finished playing with my cousin. It's so FUN & addicting! It's great for working on teamwork too!

Well those are all the things that I bought recently. Maybe I'll find something tomorrow!

Dinner Date

I went to dinner with Duy yesterday and it was the best time ever! We went to Mastergrill, which was super nice! All the lights were dim and romantic. I love it! So when we walked in, I was tripped by one of the waitress there. Not nice! D: We got to our table and sat down. They put us in an isolated corner. LOL. I felt so alone. Everyone was up near the salad bar and we got put in the most isolated spot ever! There was only 1 other couple there. The salad there was soo yummy! And the linguine too! I loved everything there! Maybe it's because I'm not a picky eater. So when you get to your table, there's a card there which says NO on one side and YES on the other. That tells the Churrasqueiros Chefs to come to your table and ask you, "Would you like some (insert type of meat here)." They had a variety of meats! From, pork wrapped in bacon, chicken wrapped in bacon, flank steak, top sirloin, lamb, Parmesan chicken, Parmesan pork, beef ribs, and much more! It was delicious! My most favorite one was the flank steak! It was yummy! Practically everything there was yummy!

After dinner, we went to watch When In Rome. It was funny and random. When the movie was done, it was already 10 o'clock. So Duy & I just hung out for a bit before we left. It was a great night. :D I want to go back to Mastergrill now! Well here was some pictures!

So I just purchased a pair of cute sneakers online. I LOVE IT! It's all sequined and glittery! Everyone that I love! It was a steal too! The shoes were originally $99.00 and I only bought them for $37.00!!! I can't wait to get them in 2-3 days. Lol. That's what the website said. Until I receive the actually product and take a picture of it, here is what it looks like.

Well today I'm probably going to the mall to hang out with Duy and afterwords I have to go with my family to some event. Hopefully the event is pretty enough for me to take pictures!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MARY<3

So I went to Mary's pre - birthday celebration yesterday and it was GREAT! I got to see MARY!! It feels like years since we've seen each other. We went to watch Lovely Bones which was really a confusing movie. I couldn't stop talking throughout the entire movie. The movie was unclear which of course made me confused. But oh well, I guess it was an okay movie. I really want to have a movie day one day. Hours and hours of movie watching. WHOOT! After the movie was done we then walked to Chipotle to eat. My burrito was a monster. After a few bites, I couldn't even pick the thing up anymore since it was spewing out of its tortilla. Not good. We chilled at Chipotle for and hour or so before I had to go. I had a great time spending time with old Jackson people. I miss everyone! It was great spending time with you too Mary! And......

Il est froid!

This will be my first post of the New Year. I am currently freezing my fingers off by posting this! It feels like I'm living in an igloo, which would be nice by the way. Even though it's super freezing right now, I love wearing non-warm clothes! I love the feeling of cold air against my skin. It feels super nice!

Over Christmas break, I got to spend time with my family and friends, which is always nice. I got Christmas presents from my cousin which was, "Touchmaster" for my DS(I love it! It's a good traveling game if you're a card and puzzle lover like me), a board game which I forgot the name to, which is super hard but fun to play, and a cute purse that I've been wanting for months from Duy! I got to spend New Years Eve and New Years with my cousin which I haven't seen for a long time. Ahh. I love the feeling of being with family! Since I felt like such a nice person this year, I filled a box with all kinds of goodies for Duy. A box full of random but cute stuff! I got him these 2 cute little finger puppets of a reindeer and snowman! I really wanted to keep it but I decided to give it up. I also got him a coupon book of things he would like me to do for him like for example, baking a batch of cookies, buying movie tickets, and cooking a special meal! I also loaded the box with a super bright flannel, a little cute button that says "Geek", a bottle of "special" handwritten messages stars, and other things. I ended up with a little bit of space left in the box so I decided to make stars and load the box with it to substitute for stuffing! As you can see below, this is how the finished product looks like.

Probably everything that is shrunk down to miniature size is super cute! I really want to go shopping. But the only problem is that there is nothing to buy. Nothing pops out to me. Everything is just plain dull! I wish there was a mall that has the things I like. Oh well, maybe one day when I grow up, I'll build a mall full of things I like! Lol. And I'll also be the only one shopping there. Yay! At least there's still online shopping. I love Ebay!

Other than that, my life is going pretty well. Love my classes except art, everyone is so boring in there. Oh well, people will start getting talkative during the middle of the semester. Enough of that, I will now go find stuff online and BUY BUY BUY!

Sushi?

Well, yesterday was a great day. I got to spend it with Duy and his family. Although I do not want another day like that any more. Even though it was a great day, it was pretty awkward. We went to Japan house for his parents Anniversary party. Cute babies there! Ate some sushi & desserts. Mmmm. I love desserts and only desserts! Other than that, I think Johnny & I pissed off the waiters. Well mostly Johnny since he kept asking for ice cream over and over again. Lol. Other than that, I had a great night yesterday. Now today, more shopping & mall! I wish they would open a Forever 21 near here. D:

Northpark

Well I went to the lovely Northpark Mall today with Duy and his cousins. Super crowded in fact, because of all the after Christmas sales. The only thing I bought today was this super cute headband.

I love how unique it is. A hat on top of a headband. I love buying weird headbands. :D So cute! But other than that, I didn't get anything else. I didn't even want to try looking for anything else. I went into Puzzle Zoo hoping to find some cute Hello Kitty stuff but you know what? There wasn't anything left! People trashed the whole Hello Kitty Corner leaving only the crappy stuff there. I also went into the Lego Store which was amazing. I felt like a little kid again just stepping inside of there. So many cool Lego architecture and those little cute Lego people. But boy do those kits cost a lot. D: But I guess that's mostly my day. Nothing more than just sitting here looking at more stuff to buy. Tomorrow is more shopping and going out to eat. Yay! :D

December

Yay! It's finally December! It is currently below freezing point for me. I can't take the cold. D: It's tooo cold!

I have to take an accuplacer test tomorrow so I'm pretty happy. Well I'm not happy about the test but I'm happy about not going to French and Speech! I promised my teacher I would do my speech tomorrow but I totally forgot about the test. Oh well. 3 hours staring at the computer screen for me. Then I have an HST test about arteries. Whoooooooot! So much to do. I need to get started on putting my science fair board together. Stressing me out this whole week! D:

Thanksgiving was pretty good for me. All I did was go to the mall, mall, mall!! Thanksgiving day was pretty good also. In the morning I went out to eat with my mom's side of the family and then we went to eat dinner at my dad's side of the family. So in the morning was Vietnamese food and the evening American turkey! :D I forgot what I got at the mall but I went more then once or twice during the break. My aunt also went shopping for us too. She bought a new purse for my mommy! But I think its way too expensive. D: My mom hasn't decided to keep or not, but I think she's probably going to keep it since its too late to return it. Oh well.

I was so happy today. I got my DBQ grade back today in WHAP and I found out that only 3 people had the highest grade in the class including me! Yay! I was failing that class when I check the online grade book but I am currently passing and I'm so happy! That DBQ took my grade up 20 points! I love how whenever I do bad on a test my grade only drops 1 or 2 points. So awesome!

I love the feeling of Christmas. I love the warmth and joyfulness in the air. I can't wait for Christmas eve and Christmas day!

Homecoming

Was great. :D I got to spend time with Mary! And Duy & Billy also. :D Apparently Mary though the decorations looked great. I kind of thought it looked ghetto. But oh well. The actually homecoming was okay. I'm not into those stuff so I didn't do much. After wards, we all went out to eat at Buffalo Wild Wings because Duy had his hungry face on. LOL. My leg started to hurt for no darn reason. So Mary & I decided to take our shoes off. The first thing I stepped on when my shoes were off was a ROCK. D: Not cool. We had to wait until 10 to get some wings for 45 cents each. :D That was a cheap dinner. Lol. But it was a good one. I order the hottest wings there. The Blazin' or soomething like that. Wow. I couldn't handle it. But Mary was a BEAST. She ate it like it was candy. :b Then we walked to IHop for some reason. Just to sit in the chairs. :D But overall, the day was good.

October!

I just went through all the birthdays in October and, DANG, there is a lot of October birthdays. :D Whoot for October! Well my day was pretty good. I went to the library for speech today to research for an informative speech we have to give. We got to choose our person that we wanted to write about and you know what the funny thing is? The librarian said that there was only one person on that list that don't have information about in the library and that if we choose them then we had to use internet source. And guess who it was.

Paris Hilton!

LOL. I thought that was so funny because why would she be in a school library anyways? I ended up choosing Judy Garland. You know? The lady who played Dorothy in The Wizards of Oz. She was the only good person that was on that list and since I knew who she was, I picked her. I went through some books and you know what the craziest thing is? She's not so innocent as you think her character may be. 5-6 marriages, suicide attempts, issues her own personal life. But she died at a young age, 40 something because of "accidental" overdose.

You know what they say, you can't really judge a person by their cover. Like how I judged Judy Garland. Thinking that she was perfect and nothing could be wrong with her. You never know what kind of life they're living. You really can't judge a person.

You know what?

If you were a real friend, you would know why.
